§1. General information

This Privacy Policy defines the rules for the processing of personal data and the use of cookies in connection with the use of the website operated by INTERMARIUM Spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością with its registered office in Kraków, ul. Starowiślna 13, 31-058 Kraków, entered in the Register of Entrepreneurs of the National Court Register under number 0000653733, NIP: 6762519028 (hereinafter referred to as the “Administrator” or “InterMarium”).

§3. Scope of processed personal data

The Administrator may process the following personal data of users:

  • first and last name, e-mail address, phone number – in the case of contact via a form or e-mail message,
  • IP address, data about the device, operating system, web browser, time spent on the website and actions taken on the website – for analytical and statistical purposes,
  • data related to newsletter activity (e.g. message opens, link clicks) – in the case of subscribing to the e-mail newsletter.

Providing data is voluntary, but necessary to use certain functionalities (e.g. responding to an inquiry).

§4. Purposes and legal bases for data processing

Personal data are processed for the following purposes:

  • Contact with the user – in order to respond to inquiries submitted via the contact form or e-mail (legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR – legitimate interest of the Administrator).
  • Marketing activities and newsletter – including sending information about InterMarium products, services and events, if the user has given consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
  • Analytics and statistics – in order to analyze website traffic, improve content quality and website functionality (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Remarketing and personalized advertising – using tools such as Google Analytics and Meta Pixel (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR – user consent).
  • Website maintenance and security – including protection against abuse and ensuring the proper functioning of the website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

§5. Data recipients

Data may be transferred to entities cooperating with the Administrator, including:

  • hosting and domain service providers,
  • entities responsible for operating the website (both technically and substantively),
  • providers of analytical and marketing tools (Google LLC, Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, UAB “MailerLite”),
  • entities supporting IT services and data security.

All entities process data in accordance with data processing agreements and applicable GDPR regulations.

§6. Data retention period

Personal data will be processed:

  • for the period necessary to achieve the purpose for which they were collected,
  • until consent is withdrawn (in the case of data processed on the basis of consent),
  • for the period required by law or until the expiration of potential claims.

§7. Rights of data subjects

Each data subject has the right to:

  • access their data,
  • rectification, erasure or restriction of processing,
  • data portability,
  • object to processing,
  • withdraw consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal),
  • lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.

§8. Cookies and similar technologies

1. The website uses cookies (so-called “cookies”) which are stored on the user’s end device in order to:

  • ensure proper functioning of the website,
  • analyze traffic (Google Analytics),
  • carry out marketing and remarketing campaigns (Meta Pixel),
  • handle the newsletter (MailerLite).

2. Cookies may be persistent or session-based. Some of them are necessary for the website to function, while others require user consent.

3. The user may change cookie settings at any time in their web browser or use consent management tools available on the website.

4. Using the website without changing browser settings means acceptance of the use of cookies in accordance with this Policy.

§9. Analytical and marketing tools 

  1. Google Analytics – used to analyze website traffic statistics. Data are anonymized and processed by Google LLC (USA). The user may block this tool using a browser add-on available at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
  2. Meta Pixel (Facebook Pixel) – enables advertising and remarketing campaigns within Meta services. Data are processed by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited.
  3. MailerLite – used to manage newsletter distribution. Subscriber data (e-mail address, name) are stored by UAB “MailerLite”.
  4. WordPress – the website is based on the WordPress CMS, which may use cookies to ensure the proper functioning of modules and plugins.

§10. Data security 

The Administrator applies technical and organizational measures to ensure the protection of personal data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration or destruction.
Only authorized persons who are obliged to maintain confidentiality have access to the data.

§11. Changes to the Privacy Policy

The Administrator reserves the right to introduce changes to this Policy. The current version is always available on the website.
In the event of significant changes, users will be informed in a visible manner on the website.
