The analysis revealed an unexpected correlation: the forklift was a critical resource for the efficiency of the entire system, even though its utilization rate was less than 30%. The key issue, therefore, was not its overall workload, but its response time and how the process was managed.
Main Goal:
The goal of the project was to explore ways to increase the productivity of the production line for synthetic concrete additives. To this end, we built a simulation model of the production process in FlexSim, which allowed us to analyze material flow, resource utilization, and the load on individual system components.
